iceberg order at 4800,00

here is a nice example of an iceberg order which is generally used for manipulating the markets, here at the price 4800,00. i was in an open short position in that momemt trying to open some more contracts, but the market droped very quickly

the iceberg position was partly open at exactly the same price earlier: notice that the price 4800,00 is very important as it attracts buyers a lot (here with unfinished auction)

janet yellen´s speach at jackson hole

yellen´s speach on symposium at jackson hole on friday, 27 august poured long expected volatility into us futures markets. there was a visible change in market auction on both e-mini dow jones and e-mini nasdaq. in these days, when there is an important fundamental message, the market makers quoting the price are nervously flinching with their limit orders which is observable both on market depth and on times and sale (tape) as well.

i took 3 trades on nasdaq 100 - only the last one gave a nice profit. it is here - nq long from low in intermarket sellers preśsure state
long trading e-mini nasdaq
althouth i had the idea to let the trade test the mid, it was not easy to hold the position so far - that is basically something against my trade management.

what stands behind that trade is this intermarket pattern
e-mini futures - intermarket analysis on higher timeframe
the timing entry was pretty peculiar here. i used the center of a microconsolidation for jumping in.. unfortunately, i don´t have a video to show and describe how i dealt with risk covering

intermarket breakout short

this is what i have learnt from the best trader ever on www.intraday.cz -:) unfortunately the market did not drop as expected this time. never mind, the first target was filled two 2 times out of 2 attemps

a nice short (in pre fomc market)

ok, again, what happened yesterday happened today again. as soon as i closed a deal the market move up for the profit. after that, i took short from daily high (pre fomc state) and it cheered me up a little bit

timing entry for this first long was supported with buyers´shadowing the sellers market orders.
timing entry for the short was due to the diminishing power of buyers after buyers´gradation. the dangerous context of price and tick nyse appeared to be real..

as soon as u close a deal, it goes your way

i don´t trade much these days because i got enrolled in another project and don´t have time for intraday trading too much.. hopefully it will get better because i feel sort of a craving for clicking into charts :-)

anyway, this was a nice try a couple of hours ago, the timing entry was pretty much alright (diminishing of buyers), except that i didn´t like the intermarket context of the price, thus, it was not appealing for me to hold the trade too long.

and yes, we all know that. as soon as you jump out of a position, the market gives you a nice profit. typical example..

trading in a drawdown

sometime u just have to scale in.. :-)

no, seriously, this is not alright, but the delta hold me strongly in that deal
the initial breakout speculation to test the intermarket high sellers. little bit risky due to the volume cluster of reactive buyers
scaling into unveiled layers of stop loss orders
the perfect entry was right here, in the last break of low, but i was with may full position in a huge drawdawn there. but this is a perfect orderflow situation for long! it is a model example. if i could, i would buy some more here. but i couldn´t (rules of money management). it was another reason why i felt quite comfortable even in a heavy drawdown. i was sure that from now on, the price will jump high and if it didn´t, i would have closed that deal at another breaking of the local low

speculation on liquidity area bellow daily low

i came late today and took just trade as a speculation to daily low breakout for testing the liquidity. the markets were extremely lazy again and this was the only deal i could recognize as "highly probable".

when u see a chart setting like this there is really not much you can do - the price is flat, the volume is low, the market auction very weak and order flow unreadable. just one thing that should pierce oneś eye: price/delta divergence. price is falling, the delta is rising: what does that mean? - liquidity concentrating bellow daily low
timing entry was not precise as it is absolutely impossible in this kind of environment. i jumped into the trade right here. the risk reward was ok - the first part of position could be safely closed within market range
market profile charts support the idea tpo poc to be tested
this is how it ended up
